Pran Neer exists so people in Bangladesh can adopt, rescue, foster, shop for and care for pets together. These rules cover profiles, pet pages, posts, comments, messages, listings, shops, products, reviews, rescue alerts, lost & found reports, foster listings, vet and pharmacy profiles, fundraising campaigns and usernames. Follow the spirit as well as the wording.
Stay safe
Do not send money to a stranger before you have seen the animal in person, checked the listing and verified the person. If it feels wrong, report it.
Do not use Pran Neer to buy, sell or arrange anything illegal in Bangladesh, including protected wildlife, animal fighting, forged records, stolen goods or anything that facilitates serious harm.
Verified vets, clinic owners, rescuers, foster owners, sellers, pet sellers and pharmacists are trusted more, so they are held to a higher standard. Keep your licence and subscription current, answer requests promptly and honestly, and never use your badge to mislead anyone. Harassment or fraud by a verified member leads to immediate loss of the badge and access.
Use the report button on a post, listing, comment, user, campaign or lost & found report. Pick the closest reason and add context. For anything else, use Contact Us. Do not send knowingly false reports. In an immediate emergency call the local police (999) or a vet first.
Depending on the severity and your history we may remove content, close a listing or campaign, limit features, warn you, suspend your account for a period or permanently ban it. Scams, animal cruelty, fake verification and child-safety violations can be actioned at once without warning, and we may preserve evidence and report to the authorities.
If you think we made a mistake, use the option on the restricted page or Contact Us and explain why. Decisions about child-safety violations are final.
We may update these guidelines as the community grows. The current version is always shown here with its effective date.
